Vision America is a movement of mobilized voters aimed at sparking a national revival.

We activate disengaged voters by providing them with informative, non-partisan resources and tools in order to make their voices heard for causes that matter to them. Using strategic technology and public data, we analyze where to focus our resources to make the greatest impact at politically opportune times. Our efforts target areas in which voter turnout or civic engagement has been historically poor so that we can promote measurable change in issues that concern our nation.

Our mission is to mobilize pastors and people of faith to influence the culture and spark a spiritual awakening.

Support for Leaders

The only hope for any nation.

A united Body of Christ has the potential to be leaders with the greatest influence and impact on culture. To do this we must activate people of faith to bring spiritual awakening in our nation. Vision America operates from a Christian worldview. We support the protection and/or advancement of the following 10 Guiding Truths as the foundation of our work.

Religious Freedom

Religious Freedom is essential to the foundation of a healthy society. As Christians in America, we uphold the Constitution and all its protections including religious freedom, speech, liberty, and life. The government is God’s instrument for governing society and not dictating the worship or freedom of its citizens.

Human Life

Human life begins at conception, continues until natural death, and is to be protected.

Spiritual Awakening

When righteous people govern a nation, its citizens can rejoice, and when people who are unrighteous govern, they groan (Proverbs 29:2). One hindrance to revival is when godly people who are free to elect who govern them do not vote, pray or run for office. The church is the hope of the world. Christians should be salt and light to the culture and influence the nation but not place their hope in any political party or candidate. All Christians are instructed to pray at all times for, submit to, and minister to those in authority.

Biblical Justice & Rehabilitation

God is both just and the creator of forgiveness and second chances. Thus, our justice and prison system should protect the innocent, punish offenders, and be rehabilitation focused in order to reduce crime in society and better its citizens. The government has the authority to and should defend our nation and preserve the right of citizens to protect themselves.

Israel & The World

Israel has a special place in the heart of God and should be prayed for, supported, and defended as a nation and as a people. God calls us to reach our city, our state, our nation, the ethnic groups in our nation and share to the ends of the world with His message.

Equality & Unity

All races and ethnicities are created by God and should be treated with biblical justice and compassion. Unity in the church is essential. We serve all biblically-based churches in America regardless of size, race or denomination. We work with those who align with us in our faith and all freedoms.

Those in Need

The poor, orphans, widows, foreigners, and frail are of special concern to God. The Bible teaches individual work ethic and self-support for our families when we are able, and the local church is instructed to help those in need instead of excessive reliance on government perpetuating a government dependency entitlement mindset. The government should secure and protect our nation and provide biblical stewardship of its citizenship and national immigration.

Biblical Family, Marriage & Gender

God created man and woman in the image of God, and biblical marriage is between one man and one woman who raise children to honor Him. Parents have freedom and choice in how their children are educated.

The government exists for the people and should steward their resources and economic freedom according to the same biblical principles that apply to people, without excessive debt, intrusion, regulation, or taxation. How we handle finances shows our heart.

God’s Creation

The earth and the animal life on it are God’s creation and should be stewarded well by man – not worshiped or exploited.

Why Vote?

A 2012 study by The Pew Charitable Trusts estimates that 24% of the voting-eligible population in the United States is not registered to vote, a percentage that represents “at least 51 million eligible U.S. citizens.” Voter registration is the first step to promoting and ensuring civic engagement.

In 2016, the outcome of the presidential election in Texas was decided by only 8.99%. The condition of our cities, counties, states, and nation is significantly affected by the character and quality of those in leadership.

You have the opportunity to position effective leaders by exercising your right to vote. Your vote is valuable to your state and makes a difference!

Our Leadership

John Graves
John GravesCEO

John Graves is a husband, father, business owner, attorney, accountant, counselor, ordained pastor, and CEO of Vision America. He has served ministries for 30+ years; spoken to over 7,000 pastors, mobilized them to lead cultural transformation; and created church-approved voter guides micro-targeted to over 7 million Evangelicals.

After studying world religions and philosophy, John dedicated his life to Christ during his sophomore year of college. Ordained by Pastor Jack Hayford, he has served local churches and para-church ministries for over 30 years. These experiences broadened his passion to serve the younger generation, all denominations, and minority congregations with the unique challenges they face.

Once “anti-political,” John felt compelled to get involved in politics after the 9/11 attacks. As he witnessed the secular fundamentalist movement continue to erode religious freedom, he began to create many of the innovative ideas used by Vision America to reach people of faith. John is convinced that when Christians, especially pastors, lead others to become involved in community issues, they have the ability to make a massive impact on the culture.

John’s business background led him to apply business principles, empirical evidence, and measured return on investment to his efforts to activate both pastors and their congregations. This passion for serving people of faith led him to create church-approved voter guides for elections and cutting-edge technological methods that directly micro-target non-partisan voter guides to millions of Christians at no cost to them.

In addition to voter guides, John has used strategic systems and data to produce heat maps of both churches and social conservatives in each state that reinforce the stewardship of each dollar for maximum impact. John’s belief that Jesus gave leaders as a gift to the Church led him to develop Acts 20:28 Pastors, a ministry that offers breakthrough technology to help pastors mobilize their congregations.

Mr. Graves is a board member of Jack Hayford Ministries, an integrated auxiliary of Gateway Church and King’s Ransom Foundation, an organization focused on supporting widows, orphans and the poor. He is also a Strategic Advisory Board member of Turning Point USA (Charlie Kirk, President), a cutting-edge group that mobilizes high school and college students to combat leftist socialism. He serves on several task force committees as an expert on faith, family, church, government, and federalism efforts to protect the life of unborn, defend biblical marriage, and support other moral issues. He is a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.

John received a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Tyler, his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law, and he was selected to the National Order of Barristers. He and his wife, Nicole, reside in Texas with their five children and serve in their local church.
